Catching up

The Coolest cake stand ever!!!!

This is a cake I did at the Arts Incubator in downtown Kansas City....really cool venue, even cooler cake stand! The brides dad cut this log for her cake stand to match her "twiggy" centerpieces! LOVE IT! The cake is iced in gold buttercream with white brushed embroidery, satin ribbon, and fresh flowers.

Whew...time to get on the ball.

So, my laptop has been broken...so has my camera! I finally got the laptop fixed and bought a new camera so I can catch up on blogging!

Halloween!

I LOVE Halloween...and I REALLY love Halloween weddings! This wedding was at Bingham-Waggoner Estate in Independence. I love this place and it was all decorated up for Halloween!~
Grooms cake that the bride made...she did such an awesome job...little zombie teddy bear.


This wedding was in the grooms fathers loft in the historic Western Auto building....very cool place, very cool view!

Let's see if I can't catch up...can't believe it's been 2 months, sigh.

Alright, let's see....This cake was at Boulevard Brewery downtown, iced in buttercream with fondant accents. All peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache filling, yum! This cake was iced in butter cream with a damask stencil and fresh floral....pumpkin spice cake!
